KARACHI: Police seized five tonnes of drugs and successfully foiled a drug-smuggling bid during a raid near Manghopir’s Northern Bypass.
The estimated value of the recovered drugs is said to be in millions.
According to police the drugs were being smuggled to Karachi in a mini truck and that it was loaded with 274 cartons carrying 5000 kilograms of drugs with an estimated value of Rs 200 million.
No arrests were made during the raid.
