Judicial Magistrate Rajanpur pronounced conviction of seven (7) years with fine of Rs. 1 Million (in FIR 37/12) under Section 462-B lodged at Police Station Rojhan, Rajanpur by Security Officer, Pak Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO).
Since Enactment of Criminal Law Amendment 2011 in October 2011 by Government of Pakistan, eleven (11) convictions have been reported under Section 462 B Pakistan Penal Code 1860. Offences under 462 A to 462 F PPC are related to oil and gas theft/tampering etc. Maximum punishment under the law is 14 years and fine is Rs. 10 million.
